Technical Details:

Inspired by the sculptural logic of seashells, the Alico daybed transforms marine geometry into a refined resting form. Its conical silhouette rises gently from the base, unfolding in layered ridges and spiraling curves that echo the natural growth patterns of shells. The enveloping structure creates a sense of shelter and intimacy while maintaining a light and balanced visual presence.
Soft upholstery in pearlescent, sand, and blush tones enhances the tactile character of the piece, catching and diffusing light like polished calcium surfaces. Hidden within the structure, a subtle integrated lighting system emits a warm, ambient glow, turning the daybed into a softly illuminated retreat after sunset. Both serene and sensual, Alico becomes more than a place to rest, an immersive space that blends comfort, atmosphere, and sculptural elegance, functioning as both contemporary furniture and an organic piece of design. Designed by Claudio Bellini.
